You haven't confirmed the source yet. Based on what you've shared, it's unclear if it's an OEM or retail item. Consider verifying further before assuming a retail copy.
20 dollars for Windows 8? That price seems really low. Where exactly does it cost that amount?
Ensure your license is active on a PC. In System Properties, verify the "Product ID" field—if it includes "OEM," your license is tied to an OEM and cannot be moved. Otherwise, you're ready to proceed with the method I mentioned earlier. For further assistance, just let me know.
Hey there, just to clarify—you're already two upgrades past Windows 8, right? (8.1 is way better than 10!)
5% might be a scam, but most folks on the Linux forums who want a key for cheap often use other sites and don’t run into issues.
Apologies for the slow reply, this should still be accessible in Windows 10. You can usually find it by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting "System." EDIT: I wouldn't recommend purchasing licenses from Reddit or G2A, but that's not the prevailing view here. I think the cost of a new license is justified for added security.
