During the recent Spring update, Windows 10 upgraded itself with a core upgrade instead of the usual Windows 7 or 8 update. This caused many software installations to disappear, including Microsoft Office 2016, without any prior notification. There was no warning beforehand. Now I’m forced to reinstall everything from scratch. It seems quite frustrating and unexpected, especially since Microsoft is addressing the issue now. What are your opinions?

I strongly dislike using Windows 10 for work. We just switched to Windows 10 Pro, and all the updates were applied. Now I’m stuck with Candy Crush and Solitaire—talking about 250 workstations, not just a few computers. That’s unacceptable! Windows 10 is a nightmare. I had to rally the entire MIS team for two days of overtime fixing domain servers, adjusting registrars, and more because Pro lets Store Games install themselves. The worst part is that non-admin users can freely add any apps! To avoid more trouble, I had everyone upgraded to the Enterprise version. Windows 10 is really frustrating.
