If you ever need to switch to the newest GPU, UEFI and secure boot could become relevant.
I'm using Windows 11 on an older BIOS before UEFI, without secure boot, but I have a slightly older GPU called Titan X Pascal that works just fine.
It's been running smoothly since the first week of Windows 11.
