It shouldn't slow down much now, especially after a fresh install. I'll hold off for a while to see if any issues are fixed, but I'll wait for the .1 update.

Big Sur performs just as well, if not better than Catalina did for me. Either way, you can always set up a backup in case you choose to revert to an earlier macOS release.

I'm saving at the moment, but I can still revert and restore from a backup.
