Hey, I understand your situation. You're using a custom-built PC and experiencing unusual FPS drops between 120 and around 20. Your GPU temps are normal at about 70, while the CPU runs between 80 to 85. The specs look good: 4090 13900K, ASUS AIO 360, 32GB RAM, 7000MHz, 990 SSD, 1200W PSU, and Windows 11 LG C2 42". You've disabled XMP settings and drivers are up to date. No obvious cause found yet. It could be something subtle—like driver conflicts, background processes, or even thermal throttling under load. Try updating BIOS, closing background apps, or testing with a different RAM module. If the issue persists, consider checking for firmware updates or consulting ASUS support. Let me know what you try next!

Which games are showing FPS drops? No XMP settings? You’re already losing performance immediately.

Fortnite maxed out, playing in 2042, cp2077, bg3. The 4090 shows minor coilwine issues, and FPS drops often cause delays. I suspect performance loss without XMP enabled. I’m trying to fix it and have turned it off.
