I'm a big fan of FL Studio. My old 3930k had 64GB RAM, but I often ran into CPU and memory limits together. Since I work a lot with orchestral samples, which use a lot of RAM, it worked well at first. If your project doesn’t need huge memory usage, I’d suggest 32GB. The 1500x model probably won’t beat my 3930k, and I hit its limits even with more RAM. I’d stick with 32GB instead.

Good idea, but I was thinking about upgrading to the Ryzen 5 3600 or Ryzen 7 3700X. I wasn’t planning to add RAM sticks with my 1500x.
