Did you verify your RAM usage and ensure it isn’t limiting performance? Generally, a swift CPU is more important for editing. When working with Adobe tools, consider using an Intel processor as it efficiently utilizes the Quicksync feature.

Considering the specs, 3700x seems like a solid choice given its multi-core and thread capabilities. The 64GB storage adds a nice boost. I’m a bit concerned about power supply compatibility, but I’ll check that out later. I’ll follow up with more details this weekend since I’m away.

cpus have an average power draw of 65 to 95 watts, while ramsticks consume around 5 watts each, possibly only 2 to 3 watts maximum.
