Hello, here are your questions rephrased:

- I currently have 8GB of RAM and am working extensively across multiple programs like Sony Vegas, After Effects, Cinema 4D, PSD, and FL Studio.
- I also use a Ryzen 1500X with 8GB RAM and a budget B450-F board with 1060 6GB RAM.
- I plan to upgrade to a B450-F or Ryzen 3700X/3600, add 64GB RAM, but I want to know if the power supply will still work without issues.

Which power supply unit? Is this about memory capacity for the PSU? If you're just starting out, 64GB might be too much. Consider purchasing two 16GB units for a total of 32GB and try it out first.

64gb would be best with a 3900x or something comparable, honestly

I thought about choosing a 32GB, but it’s slowing down too much when editing 4K or high FPS videos—it takes forever to do basic tasks. My previous PC had a 32GB DDR4 and performed okay for my needs, but it wasn’t great. I don’t want my work to suffer because of it. I’m thinking about upgrading to 64GB. Apologies if I wasn’t clear enough (I was just trying to figure it out). The main point was whether the PC could run smoothly without needing a bigger PSU.

Really? What's the issue? Can't you handle a 3600 or 3700x resolution with 64GB storage?

The PSU stands for Power Supply Unit.

It's running at 550W, but I'm not sure which model it is—could be Corsair or something else.

It seems there aren't enough threads or CPU capacity to handle 64GB effectively, which is more than sufficient for most users.

Wattage holds little significance in the broader picture, unless we precisely define its measurement. Zen 2 accommodates up to 128GB of memory.
