Upgrade to 5600x and encounter BSOD immediately following BIOS post.
Hey there, I'm trying to figure out what's going on with my new Ryzen 5600X. It arrived today, replacing my older 3700X because of a GPU bottleneck (check the specs). After swapping the CPU and applying fresh thermal paste, I booted up normally and tested it in a game. About five minutes in, I got my first BSOD. Since I installed the latest 22.8.1 Beta drivers through AMD Adrenaline Software, I thought everything was fine. Then I did a quick restart and got another BSOD right after logging in. Now I can't install any OS past BIOS on this machine—Windows can't even save a dump file. I've tried resetting the BIOS, flashing a newer version (currently F36d), using minimal hardware, starting from Ubuntu on an external drive, and even tweaking the VCore based on Reddit advice. Whenever the 5600X is detected, it works without issues, but any OS causes crashes and boot loops. I've already told the supplier about a potential hardware problem, but they haven't replied yet—maybe someone else has faced the same issue? Thanks for your help!
