Upgraded system with new motherboard (Asus Prime B650 AM5) and CPU (Ryzen 7 9700X). Existing RAM and GPU remain installed. Installed 2x16 GB Corsair Vengeance 3600 DDR5 and NVMe 3060 8 GB. Device powers on, fans spin, RAM activates. Reassembled both components. Should function as before. No display output. Possible issue? CPU might be faulty.

Board likely lacks the bios for the 9000 series. An update is required.

This could definitely make the computer stop working properly. To ensure the BIOS works, you’ll need to adjust your settings or update the board accordingly.

This would stop the PC from starting normally. AMD boards include a BIOS flashback function. There should be a USB port marked with an icon on the back panel. It’s likely located near the button for BIOS updates. You’ll need another computer to create a USB flash drive containing the BIOS update file. Then press the BIOS flashback button and wait for the process. The instructions should be detailed in the manual.

Follow the advice from other users carefully. Check if your GPU has outdated firmware, especially with older models. If problems persist, try replacing the GPU in another system to verify its firmware version. For the RTX 3060, use the provided NVIDIA update tool on displayID.
