My signature includes all the details necessary to comprehend what each part I currently possess in operation. Regarding my PSU, it's a cx750m semi modular atx power supply. I still have a working key, though opinions on the free Windows version vary—some forum discussions suggest users have used it for years without problems.

I did some light reading about the 5700x3d and saw that its price keeps rising, especially for a model at the top tier for DDR4. Right now it's cheaper than what I own, but this is because the supply of the Ryzen 5 3600x is getting lower. The performance boost was only around 15%.

Budget is something you don’t really need to stress about right now, though I’d like to hope people aren’t pushing overly expensive options when better or cheaper choices exist. I’m seeking advice since I’ve been exploring myself, but I prefer to get input from those with more experience in certain parts. Thank you for all the suggestions and the useful explanations!

The options required are minimal; just suitable for gaming. A 7800x3d is still accessible and offers a lower price now, keeping up with the 9800x3d in terms of cost. The 9800x3d operates slightly cooler since its cache sits beneath the cores rather than stacked above, enhancing heat dissipation from the cores to the CPU IHS. This design supports higher clock speeds and delivers better overall performance in non-gaming scenarios compared to the 7800x3d. Typically, x3d chips lag behind their non-x3d equivalents in non-gaming tasks. The 9800x3d breaks this pattern and can outperform a 9700x in non-gaming workloads.
