How do I lower the version from 8.1 to 7? Do I need a flash drive or disc, or should I get a completely new Windows 7? Also, do I have to purchase an entirely new operating system? That would be annoying Sad There’s another discussion about this, but I’ll keep it focused so it’s clear. Please let the mods know to close the other thread. Thanks!

Just installing Windows 7 again... I’m counting on you having the key, it’s important either way.

Consider purchasing Win7. The downgrade option is available in both Ultimate and Pro editions of Windows 8.1.
