You can switch from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 10 Home by using the settings menu, selecting "Update & Security," then choosing "Upgrade" and picking Home edition.

Perform a clean installation of Windows 10 Home. An in-place upgrade from Home to Pro isn't possible. To avoid data loss, back up your entire drive, reinstall, and then restore the required files.

If only files are required, simply transfer them to another drive and then return them after installing Windows again. For software, I recommend reinstalling it after a fresh Windows setup to avoid issues. I prefer not to shift programs between installations, as it can cause problems.
