I've been considering moving up from the i5-9400f and wondered what improvements would be best. What do you think is the right next step?

You're considering enhancing certain parts of your setup. Could you share what else you're looking to upgrade and provide details on your current specifications, budget, and location?

For an upgrade, aim for at least a 12600K or higher, like 14700K if you need heavy workloads such as UE4/UE5 development and 3D modeling. You might consider upgrading your motherboard, but used options are often costly.

That makes sense, I was thinking the same thing. The upgrade in both the motherboard has been minimal—just the B365 Pro VH—and a CPU upgrade would really make a difference. I guess I should go ahead and plan for the 12th or 13th generation now. Thanks!
