Hello, I'm experiencing issues with my computer. I've switched to a new AMD system and my HDD isn't booting up—it worked with another SSD, so I'm not sure what's happening. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Are you attempting to utilize the drive and operating system from the 8700k model in this Ryzen 5600?
Yes, that's unlikely to succeed.
You'll need to perform a complete OS reset and reinstallation.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Have you transferred the OS drive from your previous system? If yes, you'll need to reinstall the operating system after setting up a bootable USB installer for your OS.
You didn<|pad|>, don't mention the make and model of your PSU or its age.

But the issue is that the ssd I originally tested was in an intel system, I transferred it to a ryzen system and it functioned properly, booting without problems—would that still have an impact?

Occasionally it functions. Occasionally it doesn't. At times it works somewhat. Just starting up doesn't always mean it's successful. You might be dealing with issues for a long time before finding the right solution.
