Nothing at the moment but Microsoft said support will be ending in january for W7.
You may use Windows 8.1 Enterprise for 90 days before purchasing Windows 10. It’s a bit uncertain, but it seems to function.
If you intend to purchase Windows 10 soon, keep in mind that the Technical Preview will eventually end
C2p0_ is accurate. You can still run Windows 7 without issues. But if you wish for a fresh OS, Windows 10 will arrive soon (rumors suggest April, possibly summer or October). Regardless, paying full price isn't justified. Windows 10 offers stability but may have bugs (expected for an evolving system). Your input matters. If you install Windows 10, follow the update steps: use Windows Update, restart, then navigate to PC Settings > Update and recovery > Preview Build, click download. The file is about 2.7GB—patience is key; don’t close the window while it downloads or switch tabs. No progress indicator appears. You can continue other tasks during the process. After completion, an "install" button will appear—click it to apply the latest version in the slow ring (choose later if you finish). Once upgraded, returning to PC Settings > Update and recovery > Preview Builds lets you pick between the slow or fast lane. Fast lane delivers newer versions more often but with fewer tests, increasing chances of finding bug fixes and new features. The current Windows 10 build is 9879 on the fast lane, while the slow lane uses 9860.
