I'm unable to upgrade my CPU to 7900x or 7950x; I'd need a full new setup, including the motherboard. I can install 5900x or 5950x since my board supports them. My motherboard is an AM4 build, while the 7900x is for AM5.

I have made some changes to my post.
An acceptable improvement, though not substantial.
For gaming on the 5900X it's similar to the 5950X.
Adding extra threads for multithreaded tasks would be beneficial.
Switching to AM5 would need DDR5 memory.
The Intel 14900K continues to function well with DDR4 RAM.

upgrading is okay right now, but I think waiting until the super cards are released would be better. I'm not sure if upgrading is really beneficial for the 3080 yet.

Do you think I could extend the project by another two years and then rebuild it? I've already saved £4k. Also, I'm considering purchasing an OLED monitor.
