Hello, I'm planning to enhance my existing system which uses an ASUS X470 Prime Pro board and a Ryzen 2700 processor. I'm thinking about swapping it for a Ryzen 5700X3D but need to verify memory compatibility. My current setup has four 8GB Corsair LPX RAM sticks, none of which appear in any QVL listings. ASUS offers a QVL for each Ryzen generation on the X470, which might help. I also saw a G.Skill model at a store, but their site doesn't confirm X470 support, even though it's listed on the ASUS QVL. Since I'm new to PC building and haven't dealt with compatibility issues before, what advice would you give? Thanks ahead!
The RAM is functioning on the 5700X3D model. It's interesting they managed to run well on the 2700 despite its weaker memory controller. Make sure to update the BIOS before installing the new CPU. The 5700X3D requires BIOS version 6042, and after booting with the new CPU, you should update the BIOS again to the latest release.
My current configuration is quite unreliable, only functioning with an older AGESA release. Upgrading to a newer version would improve stability, but I’m concerned about the instability or 2333mhz limit instead of the expected 3200mhz. I previously used a 5700x model, yet it wouldn’t even appear in any memory setup (no confirmation if it was CPU dead).

Everything is running smoothly now, just in case anyone tries to dig through. I updated the bios to version 6042 using two of my Corsair memory sticks (QVL confirms two are supported). Added a new CPU and posted the update. The boot loop issue with four sticks was fixed, and I went to version 6223. All systems are working well together. Appreciate your feedback!
