In my view, the order typically looks like this: Windows 7 → Windows 8.1 → Windows 10. My laptop with 8.1 is consuming a lot more RAM—currently around 4.9 gigabytes with three tabs active. On my desktop running 10, it’s using about 3.2 gigabytes and has two desktops open, one with seven tabs and another with three, plus Skype running Windows 10 feels noticeably smoother, even with a relatively old hard drive. I really enjoy having multiple desktops open.
Ensure your system runs smoothly by installing the most recent Windows 10 drivers.
