Upgrade from Win8.1 to Win7
Upgrade from Win8.1 to Win7
Hey, I understand you're planning to revert to Windows 7. Since you have a legal copy and an ISO on a USB, the system won't automatically format your drive. You'll need to create a bootable Windows installation media yourself and then format the SSD manually if needed.
Ensure you back up your information before proceeding with a clean installation.

It runs a bit quicker... the interface remains quite poor until you adjust it to feel more like 7.
Someone asking about Windows 8 and 8.1, I don't like them and don't want to upgrade to Windows 10. It's just my preference, I suppose.
It's like a month + change for the Win 10 to come out. Why not just wait like @ grayblizzard said. You gonna have to upgrade to Win 10 sooner or later for DirectX 12 anyway. Unless you are not a gamer, then by all means just backup and do a clean install.
Alright, follow the rest of the group while mentioning Windows 10 is great in addition to its cost.
You can transform Windows 8/8.1 to resemble Windows 7. My setup appears to mimic version 7, which is why some users noticed the difference. A few friends who enjoy coding visited my system a couple of months ago, and one remarked after about 30 minutes, "I see you didn't stay on Windows 8 for long." I explained that I was running 8.2, but they didn<|pad|> to think it was still Windows 8. I had to check the system settings to confirm it was indeed 8.1.
