Upgrade from Ryzen 5 1600 to Ryzen 5 2600

I recently changed my CPU from R5 1600 to R5 2600, refreshed my BIOS and reset all configurations. It only starts up properly when I use the 2600, but works perfectly after re-seating the 1600. Thanks for your assistance. Specs: Asus Prime b350m-a RX 570 4GB 650W PSU 2x 4GB HyperX 2400MHz DDR4 RAM.

Could have encountered a problem with the BIOS update. Make sure to reflash and review the instructions to confirm you didn’t overlook any additional updates that could be necessary. Are you certain the 2600 model is functional and not out of date?

Review the BIOS details for your motherboards on the manufacturer's official site. Some producers need updates applied one after another instead of all at once.
