I'm facing an issue with the PC not booting properly. After several upgrades—from an older Intel CPU to a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, a new GPU, and now DDR5 RAM—I’m stuck. The system powers on but doesn’t display anything on the monitor. There are also two distinct lights on the motherboard: a steady yellow and a flashing red. All fans and power supplies are active, yet nothing appears. I’ve tried reseating everything, updated the BIOS, flashed it from USB, and even used only the PSU and monitor. Nothing changes. It’s frustrating, like trying to fix something with a broken brain.

It looks like a common AM5 and X3D compatibility problem. What’s your RAM latency? Your fix might involve testing different RAM arrangements, using one stick at a time, updating the BIOS, trying it on another PC, or swapping RAM in this machine with alternatives. If it works with another spare stick but not these ones, you may need a different kit that supports your AM5 processor. Except for that, I’d say the 7800X3D is more than necessary with a 4070, and pairing it with faster RAM than 5600MTs would be ideal.

It seems like you're experiencing a RAM problem. You might try using one stick versus a separate kit or stick bundled together. Compatibility with different RAM modules on the AM5 platform can be inconsistent.
