Fascinating, since Gigabyte just refreshed the BIOS without making any changes, even after installing the 7800X3D. Interesting to see such differences.

People used to talk about keeping the TPM active before a CPU update, fearing problems with the operating system even when the feature wasn’t needed. It seems Gigabyte had the toughest process to reactivate it, but I haven’t found recent discussions about this. Maybe Microsoft adjusted something to make the OS more stable, especially now that many are using it enabled.

Here’s a revised version of your message:

So there’s been a small update—Flash went smoothly and I’m now using F17. I’ll only install the 3D tomorrow, but I ran into some issues. All my monitor paths have changed, so I need to reset the Wallpaper Engine and my monitor management tools. As expected, Secure Boot caused some trouble. When I enabled Secure Boot, the Key Manager didn’t boot properly, so I had to add my keys again. Still, I keep getting the “Invalid Signature Detected – Secure Boot Violation” message. It’s fine since I can boot each OS directly, but I’m curious about why it happens. Thanks for your help!

Also, I was wondering—what are typical idle temperatures and frequencies for a 5800x3D? I’m using a beQuiet! Dark Rock 4 non-Pro and would love to see some comparison data.

Recent notes: The 5800x3D functions properly, reaching 4450mhz and everything looks fine. I realized I need to re-sign OpenCore using a fresh certificate since the previous Microsoft one was revoked. Appreciate the support from everyone!
