Hello, I have the Gigabyte H110MS2H motherboard, not exactly something fancy. I was thinking about increasing my RAM capacity, but after some research it seems my board should work. I’d appreciate a quick check from a couple of tech experts. The RAM I’m considering was offered by my local supplier, and if it’s a good option I’ll definitely look for cheaper alternatives. Here’s the link: https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing-...4-pdt.html

It will function perfectly. Just remember to adjust the speed to 2400 MHz yourself in most situations. I think H110 retains that feature.

You probably want to check the BIOS settings first. It’s a good idea to confirm compatibility before installing new RAM. Let me know if you need more details!

Great idea! Always checking details before spending a lot. That option should definitely be listed in the bios.

The i7-9700KF is designed for older systems and wouldn't support a modern CPU like the i7-9700K.

Check the official page for that motherboard.
Focus only on the 6th and 7th sections regarding the motherboard.

They share the same socket designation (LGA1151), but the pin configurations differ. Therefore, the direct answer is no—it won't work. Even with a BIOS upgrade, modifying it can be risky and time-consuming. It might be better to purchase a different compatible board instead.
