Hi everyone. My dad just gave me his old Dell Dimension E520. I have an extra core 2 quad Q6600 and I’m considering swapping out the existing duo. I think it should fit since both use the same socket type. I also want to know if my PSU can handle it—only a 300-watt unit is available. I’m planning to add two 4GB RAM sticks, a 256GB SSD, and I’m curious if the system will support that upgrade. This machine will mainly be for light browsing and basic office tasks like Word and PowerPoint. Thanks for any advice!
