Upgrade board for Ryzen 5 Pro 4650G

Hey everyone, welcome back to the build space. I’m trying a Ryzen 5 Pro 4650G on an ASUS A520M-K board and am considering upgrading to something like the ROG STRIX B550. I’ve heard the B450 is superior, but I want to make sure I’m on the right track. Any advice or clarification would be super helpful! Thanks!

B450 panels work well, but the BIOS for the 4650G isn't assured. Affordable B550 boards are sufficient. Which country are you purchasing from? Do you require a micro ATX setup?

Be aware that not all B550 models are compatible with Ryzen xxxx G processors... verify before purchasing.

Thanks for the reply. You're in the UK and don't need a micro since you're using a cougar MX410 case.

I prefer the smaller options, so I suggest A or B for the bust size.
