Updated the BIOS using the Terminal, but the boot time problem persisted. It seems the issue might be hardware-related. Appreciate the support!
Check the BIOS time displayed on the startup apps page in Task Manager. If you notice a setting for RAM speed in the BIOS, consider lowering it. It might take some time to adjust the RAM and you may repeat this action often. The issue could also stem from a dead CMOS battery, meaning the time shown after booting is accurate. Determine whether this slowdown has always been present or started recently.
I changed the CMOS battery, reset the BIOS, checked all memory-related settings (especially for DDR4 on Intel), but nothing seems to work. It takes about a minute to start up. I haven’t adjusted the RAM speeds yet; I’ll give it another try.
