Hey everyone. About two years back I began gathering some initial components for my new setup and purchased Windows 10 Pro on USB. This option let me postpone updates indefinitely, so I could wait until issues were resolved before upgrading. The pandemic then came along and forced me to pause the project, as travel was restricted for a while. In 2021 it was tough to locate new hardware, especially graphics cards. By 2022 I finally had everything, but now Windows 11 is available and I’m not keen on upgrading to it yet. My upgrade cycle is several years away, and I expect support to end soon. So, what should I do with my brand new, unopened Windows 10 Pro copy? Do I need to install Windows 10 Pro first on my new machine to get the Windows 11 installation media, then reformat the drive and reinstall from the USB? It would be a bit complicated to set up Windows 10 and then go through the whole process again. Is there anything I missed? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Use the official installation USB tool and enter the activation key provided with your 10 to start the setup.
