Hello, my 7900X is heating up quite a bit. I have a custom loop setup with a 280 radiator (upgraded soon to a 4x120mm with optimized fans) and a D5 pump instead of a DC-LT pump. While playing CoD MW22, the HWMonitor readings are showing something. Can I adjust the CPU voltages? Should I keep UCLK sync or make it async?

Max 80C performs well at full speed on a 7900X, and I achieved similar results with a 280 loop using D5 pump. With a 5900X running at full 200W power, clocks still work at around 5.7GHz. Cinebench scores are solid—consider lowering core voltages by 15 to 20V in PBO for even better performance.

Result normal, temperature around 80°C? Yes, that’s perfectly okay.

Checked the article and found it discusses cutting power without major performance loss. The Vcore info on HWMonitor refers to the VDDCR_VDD voltage setting.

Update, I've installed my new pump and new 480 radiator and the temps are much lower, it used to be 85C while gaming and while rendering 95C. After getting a D5 and the 480 rad I have 45-50C while gaming but I also undervolted it how it says in the thread. Cinebench from 27772 -> 24773 In Gaming it has no difference, the CPU is basically locked to 95W and I like it. It used to pull 170W+ and now it draws half the power and still hits 5.5Ghz instead of 5.75Ghz in gaming. Pump is at 50% Fans spin at 30% (Noctua NF-F12 Chromax) till 60C so they never spin faster while gaming because it never goes above 55C, i have set it from 60C 30% to 85C 50% and the fans go only a little faster when rendering or Cinebench.
