About a year ago I improved my PC with a better graphics card, which helped. Now realizing more than I thought last year, I decided the 3060 12GB with i3 10105f wouldn’t work well given the PCIe 3 motherboard and my 550W Corsair power supply. I considered upgrading both the CPU and motherboard, but I’m unsure what to do since my budget is around this price range. I found some images linked below, but I don’t know if anyone has good recommendations.

If you're using the 10th generation now, I'd likely get something similar to a used 10600K, and the 3060 offers little extra value. Regarding PCIe 3.0, it's perfectly acceptable; you won't lose much by sticking with the 3060.
