It won't be subjected to that pressure, and switching the CPU for the 5800X3D keeps it around 120W maximum. As long as performance stays steady, it's okay.

i mainly play games and don’t want my cpu limiting experiences like star wars or spiderman with rt. For gaming, i doubt i can reach 5800x3d at full speed.

Wow, only 52W while gaming is insane—maybe I should lower my 5600 a bit. It can easily reach 76TDP during gaming. I also have a 240mm AIO, do you think it’s sufficient for cooling a 5800X3D? My DarkFlash Twister isn’t a huge AIO, but it keeps my 5600 around 48-62°C max with a -30 curve.

You should be able to execute the -30 curve on 3DX as well
