Hello, I'm looking to reduce my Windows 10 version from 1809 to 1803 because of some game performance issues. I'm wondering if it's possible to downgrade without affecting my main drive data—just the Windows installation. Would formatting the C drive and starting over be necessary, or can I keep my current files intact? Also, if I don't want a full reinstall, should I expect the programs to function properly afterward? Thanks in advance for your help.

It seems there may be some uncertainty about the process. The guide suggests checking earlier versions for GPU driver issues and installing a different RAM disk, as MSI is stopping due to the same problem. Remote software like Radmin appears to be working, though mouse pointer changes aren't detected. Users report screen shutdowns after two minutes due to hidden settings, and many improvements are seen as minor annoyances. The only positive change is the Win+V clipboard feature. Overall, it looks like patience may be needed for future upgrades.

They seem to be unrelated to a GPU driver problem. The Amd adrenaline edition drivers were just updated today, which should improve performance. However, that didn't happen in bf1. I'm certain Windows made a mistake there. My instincts say so.

Take the time to set up everything properly. Disable game mode and similar settings.

I've already attempted it. It didn't help much. Features like game mode and full screen optimization weren't effective.
