Updating to bricked interfaces after transitioning from CSM-UFE
Hi, I turned on UEFI restart and then secure boot afterward. After rebooting, I opened BIOS and noticed some Chinese and English text, plus a glitchy screen. I fixed it by re-seating the CMOS battery, but now I can’t switch from CSM mode. This was working before I upgraded to Windows 11, and I still manage to boot into it. My motherboard is an MSI A320M-A-PRO, not the latest version. Any suggestions?
the system offered minimal specifications, so proceed cautiously with BIOS updates. the board had very tight constraints, making features like XMP overclocking and RAID largely unavailable. many AMD users faced challenges because the available space was so limited, forcing manual configuration for tasks such as CPU upgrades. there are numerous complaint pages detailing problems, but the details provided are sparse and unclear about other environments beyond Windows 11 and MSI 320.
