Hello, I’m facing a problem where updating the newest Nvidia drivers causes crashes, followed by a system repair when my PC restarts. To fix things, I switched to using mostly new components and performed a clean Windows install. So far, only my GPU and PSU haven’t been completely new. The issue continues despite all attempts. I couldn’t get the latest drivers from Nvidia, so I installed driver 537.58 which is functional but not optimal. Since then, I’ve been playing a lot of The Finals and encountering frequent Unreal Engine crashes that seem linked to driver issues. I’m concerned my GPU might be failing soon, given its age and limited usage—mostly light gaming, YouTube, and Excel. It feels like either the PSU isn’t providing enough power or the GPU is deteriorating before it should. What are your thoughts? Based on what I have, my build looks like this: GPU – Gigabyte Windforce RTX 3080 (16 months), CPU – i5 14500 (new), PSU – Corsair TX650m (4.5 years), MOBO – Asrock B760M PG Sonic Wifi (new), RAM – 16GB x 2 G.Skill Flare X5 DDR5 (new), SSD – WD Blue SA510 1TB (new), Water Cooler – 2x 120mm Cooler Master RGB (new), OS – fresh Win11 Pro, GPU Driver – Geforce Game Ready 537.58 (10/10/2023).
