I’m not sure if this process remains the same after ten uses, since it worked for me previously. Thought about it: why not try installing 7 on a new computer or reactivating it if it’s already 7? Then upgrade to 10—it should help. I’ve even swapped hardware on an OEM version of 7 once and it functioned over the phone.
