Hello, Setup: ROG STRIX H370-I Gaming MB paired with an Intel i5-8600k CPU, onboard graphics, and MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Ti BIOS version 2811 x64. Issue: The RTX 3080Ti graphics card has just been returned from a warranty claim due to issues like artifacts and crashes. Initially, it worked fine with the onboard graphics. After installing the RTX card, the system boots correctly if the monitor is connected via the onboard graphics. However, changing the BIOS settings to AUTO or PEG in BIOS prevents booting without output to the monitor. Reconnecting the monitor restores normal operation and access to BIOS or Windows. In BIOS, the Primary Display setting appears as 'CPU Graphics'. I suspect the problem might be with the motherboard rather than the card itself. Before returning it under warranty, I’m wondering if there are any checks I can perform to confirm the issue isn’t from hardware. Assumed they would have verified the card before sending it back. Thanks in advance.

You need to verify the GPU on a different machine, but it seems to be damaged.

Thank you for the response. I currently lack access to another PC or graphics card. I've chosen to return it under warranty again.
