Hi,
I have an MSI Dominator Pro GT72VR 6RE Laptop equipped with an I7-6700HQ CPU and a GTX 1070 8GB GPU. I'm checking the most recent BIOS update information. The HWinfo shows the latest bios as "01/17/2018" with version "E1785IMS.119". Could you confirm if this is the current release or if a newer version exists? Also, please advise on safe BIOS updates that won't affect my Windows data. I would like to include an HWInfo screenshot, but I'm having trouble attaching it or adding a photo link via Google Drive. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

This is the official support page for the manufacturer.
Version E1785IMS.119
Date: 2018-02-23
Important: Update the CPU microcode 0xC2 to address Intel-SA-00088 vulnerabilities related to speculative execution and side-channel attacks. If you install the newest BIOS, ensure you also install NVIDIA graphics driver v368.83 or a newer release.

GT72VR now supports NVIDIA G-SYNC starting with BIOS version E1785IMS.10D. To enable G-SYNC, verify that your BIOS and NVIDIA driver are up to date on the MSI website, and check that the built-in panel also supports G-SYNC (panel details vary by model).

The version number seems unchanged except for the BIOS date. It’s unclear if updating is necessary. To proceed, you can update via the BIOS settings—either by flashing directly from there or using another method. Regarding attaching a screenshot, I’m not sure about the exact steps in this context.

Since the version remains unchanged, I'll keep the same format.
