I attempted to upgrade Windows from 7 to 10 but encountered the error 0x80072F8F - 0x20000. I followed the instructions on YouTube and tried everything, yet the issue persists.

Reviewing the article's points... The mentioned problem involves error code 0x80072F8F - 0x20000. It usually occurs when using the Media Creation Tool for Windows 10 or 11 and relates to a failed secure connection during downloads from Microsoft. This happens when there’s a mismatch in timing, missing TLS security settings, or network issues. It isn’t caused by hardware faults or viruses—it’s a minor misalignment in how Windows checks secure downloads or updates. To resolve it, adjust your system time, ensure TLS is active, or verify your internet connection.

Ensure your system clock is accurate. A discrepancy beyond a few minutes could cause problems during encryption handshakes.

Click on Start, type "system," and press Enter. It might display the CPU model.

Open My Computer and then Properties... You might need to look this up yourself. Win7 was quite common a while back for many people. What does that mean? Are you trying PC for the first time? Do you use a computer at all? Are you young? What’s your skill level, and why do you still have Win7 installed?
