RAM costs have dropped, so it makes sense to upgrade. You currently have 16GB of 3600 Trident Z CL16, but online searches only show CL18 models. Mixing them isn't recommended and could cause issues.

It seems the faster unit will slow down to match the slower one's speed, unless you can override the slower RAM to reach CL16 speeds. Both are at 3600MHz or higher?

Both are set at 3600, so I guess if it fits my current model I’ll be okay. I've been upgrading my RAM recently for some extra space. Thanks!
