Updating GPU settings on your device

I’m looking for ways to maximize performance from your 2070 armor card using MSI. I’ve tried various BIOS versions but none work. The only issue I get is “gpu mismatch” with the patched NVFLASH version. Someone, could you help me resolve this?

Essentially, the performance will be limited because most cards are fixed in voltage. To improve results, you may need to modify the card with a shunt mod, add an external voltage regulator, use advanced cooling methods, or employ other custom solutions.

Your 2070 stays at 200W unless you can upgrade it, which would let you boost the power and move it further along the scale.

If you locate a suitable BIOS version that supports increased power output, you could potentially achieve a slight boost of around 1 to 2%, though it may not justify the time invested.

You’re likely heading toward a performance drop to zero if you keep pushing this way. While it’s understandable you want the latest 2070 specs, taking that risk could ruin your setup. Don’t forget you have ample funds—why not invest in a solid GPU instead?
