With DX12's growing popularity, it's likely several game developers would consider updating their titles to support it. The effort would vary—some might just tweak existing systems, while others could need significant changes to fully integrate DX12. AAA titles from the past year, such as GTA V, Witcher 3, and BF4, remain relevant, but adoption depends on how critical DX12 features are for those platforms.

They don't come back to revisit past work, and even the older projects function perfectly with old software.

Unlikely, though it's conceivable BF:Hardline or BF:4 could secure it because the update to mantle post-release might have helped.

Massive AAA games such as GTAV and Witcher 3 are indeed huge, and yes, BF4 was updated for the new console generation.

They could be possible, but I assumed you were referring to titles like Crysis 3, Skyrim, and similar games.

Unlikely. They won't receive additional funds from you by doing that.

Occasionally some titles appear, but they're rare and not many will be available

GTA V stands out due to its online features, while most high-end AAA titles likely don’t.
