I'm just trying to understand why my frames dropped from a consistent 270-300fps to around 190-240fps, especially since the same pattern occurred in every map of Mirage. It seems like this happened during the last three to four updates when I adjusted my settings, but only got lower and lower. It's not really impacting my gameplay, though it's definitely frustrating. If anyone has any tips or solutions, I'd love to hear them.

Consider trying a fresh installation. The current setup seems stable at around 180-200 FPS, but it might be affected by recent updates like Infernew or Newke. Reinstalling could resolve any performance issues.

I’m planning to attempt a reinstall right away since it shouldn’t be too long.

It's a frequent concern. I suspect it isn't related to your side. I've experienced this with previous updates, and I'm aware of others facing similar challenges.

It depends on what you mean by "it." If you're referring to a specific item, feature, or update, let me know and I'll clarify. Otherwise, it might simply disappear once the change is applied.

Generally, performance has decreased over time. Back then your frame rate was significantly better than it is now. I wouldn't assume it would improve automatically unless the developers made changes. I'm unsure what specifically caused the drop in performance. Checking the CS:GO subreddit might offer more details I can't provide.

How it impacts other Steam titles such as Skyrim and similar games is uncertain. It might prevent you from reinstalling your Skyrim ENB again, but the broader effect remains unclear.

The CS:GO configuration is saved at: Steam\userdata\68002132\730\local\cfg. Deleting it will reset all your video preferences and custom settings. I recommend moving it to another folder or restarting the game instead. It might be an old setting causing issues. Also, consider relocating the autoexec.cfg and config.cfg files from \Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\ to a different directory. This way, new ones will be generated automatically when the game restarts. If this doesn’t resolve the problem, simply reinserting the files in their correct location should work without affecting other games.
