WiFi performance is based on assumptions and fluctuates rapidly because of surroundings. Measuring actual speeds would be extremely challenging.

What are you aiming to achieve? Speed changes across devices based on distance, signals, and obstacles. You can track Wi-Fi performance in network settings to understand your connection, though real data may still differ. If you want to assess coverage, the WIFI MAN app performs well.

You refer to the rate at which data travels over a wireless network. You can measure it using tools like ping to check delays.

With LAN available, you should prefer Ethernet over Wi-Fi. If both are on, the system will default to the preferred option, which is usually Wi-Fi. A weaker Wi-Fi connection makes Ethernet a better choice.
