You've just acquired both Witcher 1 and 2, and you're noticing the combat mechanics feel quite weak for this time period, which might make you hesitate to play them extensively. Are there any mods available that could help you progress more quickly so you can grasp the story before moving on to Witcher 3? Thanks!

W1 is straightforward with the easiest settings. Use spells such as igni and aard to take out most foes quickly. Make sure to prioritize quick stamina recovery.

Some part of me wants to watch, while another thinks it’s pointless since I just bought it. Haha!

The way you battle feels quite dull, honestly.

I wasn't bothered by the fighting approach. It differs from what you're familiar with, yet it feels distinct and can be fun.

@AHaskin14 you mentioned that, maybe I’ll try again now. I gave a shot to Witcher 2 and really enjoyed it. The Asus GPU promotion offered Witcher 3 for free, which makes me excited to finish all three games in a week during my sem break.

It's actually different from Witcher 2. The combat isn't open-ended. Once you target an enemy, you use one of your predefined attack methods. Give it a try!

I also experienced it initially, but soon got accustomed to it and discovered it was really fun.

I attempted, but lost interest. That’s why I began searching for modifications. Now I’m planning to give it another shot.
