Good morning, I just installed a new PC yesterday and everything appears normal after updating the BIOS through the Gigabyte website. There’s no slash screen showing Gigabyte on the screen, and the BIOS is running properly. All components—fans, AIO LCD, and GPU fans—are functioning. I flashed the BIOS to version 13 for support and used DDR5 RAM. I tested with a single RAM stick in A1 and A2, plugged in the CPU power connector, and unplugged it afterward. The Gigabyte board lists compatibility for both RAM and CPU. My build is Intel Core i9-13900K (no integrated GPU). I’m using Kingston Fury Beast Black 64GB DDR5 CL40 (5600MT/s) with MOBO GIGABYTE Z690 AORUS Elite AX (LGA 1700/ATX/DDR5). The GPU is an Evga 3080TI HD with two NVMe M.2 slots (PCIe 4.0). I’m running the PSU from EVGA SuperNova 1300W, using fresh cables instead of old ones. The AIO is Z63, which displays temperature on the LCD. No integrated GPU, but I’ve tried HDMI/DP connections on the motherboard. After a few minutes of operation, the red LCD on the board shows CPU status. I’m working with 8pin+4pin connectors, using PSU 4x4 and 2x4 connectors, and 3x4 connectors. The PC won’t restart itself even when it powers on. It wakes up from sleep but doesn’t show any signal. I’m seeking advice before starting any replacement work and would appreciate pictures if possible.

I also verified the GPU power settings. Would you have considered using Gigabie's BIOS flash to re-flash it? Check the motherboard manual for further guidance. Keep in mind to be gentle with patience. P.S. The recommended approach is to flash the BIOS directly without entering the system, as I don't feel confident with those methods in Windows.

I updated with the latest F21, but used F20. My QFlash shows white and blinks for a while. The USB I’m using is 3.0—should I switch to a 2.0 USB as mentioned in another forum?

There are many Sandisk and Kingston options available at low prices right now.

Got a USB 2.0 at 16GB, that’s the best I could afford. After formatting, set it to FAT32 and used Qflash. Pressed QFLASH, turned off lights, unplugged CPU and GPU, removed RAM—tried without RAM too. No white blinking light, not even a red one. With a 32GB USB it lit amber and didn’t shut down in 3-5 seconds. This is what I’m seeing when trying to get into the 13th gen soon. Either the CPU isn’t compatible with the board or it’s the board itself. Even if I replace it or return it next Monday.

After completing F21 and connecting HDMI to the GPU, I waited a bit after the QFLA stopped flashing. I restarted and then flipped the CMOS switch to let it reboot. Eventually, I accessed the BIOS menu. It confirmed that F21 Confirmed A2 RAM was detected. At first, booting with RAM in B2 didn’t work, so I tried A1, B1, then returned to B2 and managed to boot. The XMP profile 1 displayed DDR5 at 5600MHz as expected. Both the 1TB and 2TB options appeared on the bootable USB. The only changes I made were extracting all BIOS RAR files onto the USB, renaming the F21 file to GIGABYTE.BIN while keeping the originals intact. It took about six minutes in total.

Absolutely, you should change the names. Each mobile needs a consistent folder name. It can be tricky to decide the right one. Everything seems fine now?
