Hello, I've switched to Windows 10 on my gaming PC. I'm facing some issues—can you assist me? I can't adjust the refresh rate and it's stuck at 60Hz. I went through the settings but only saw one option. My monitor (ASUS ROG PG278Q) is detected, but I don't see its name. I tried installing NVIDIA drivers for my GTX 980 SLI, but the installation failed with a message about driver issues. Any help would be appreciated!

Windows 10 isn't fully compatible with SLI just yet. Consider reinstalling Windows 7 or 8.1, and give it time—at least a few months—before making changes. The OS remains in its early testing phase.

This update seems confusing. Windows 10 isn't in testing phase; manufacturers must provide compatible drivers. The version is only two days old, so expecting everything to function right now isn't realistic.

The Nvidia driver issue can be addressed by initially using the DDU tool to eliminate all Nvidia drivers. Next, manually install the latest GeForce driver for Windows 10. This should resolve most problems and improve performance. You mentioned not being aware of the 144Hz setting, so you only have 60Hz and 75Hz available.

You might want to try reinstalling Windows 10 again, but if you're unsure, consider checking if your system is compatible with version 8.1 first.

Ensure the latest Nvidia drivers are installed (version 353.62) before proceeding, then revert to version 10.

For now I'll keep using Windows 8.1, but I might move to Windows 10 after a few months.
