I just upgraded to Zen 4 and changed only the mainboard, RAM, and CPU. When trying to boot, the BIOS felt sluggish and had some stuttering—like the cursor jumped instead of moving smoothly. I booted Windows a few times but kept running into crashes, reboots, and black screens. Eventually, I managed to get through the driver setup for Windows and even used the desktop twice before it crashed again. This isn’t my first PC build, but I’m not very good at fixing things. Any suggestions?

Which BIOS version is installed? I haven’t detected any AM5 board with a BIOS flashback issue (thanks AMD!). Double-check that you’ve updated it. I’ve seen six BIOS updates for this board since it was released.

I haven't installed it yet, just purchased a new one, so I assume it should start up correctly with the BIOS and the CPUs that came with it. I'm not as concerned about the stuttering in the BIOS as I am about crashes, but I thought the stuttering might be a sign of something else.
