Updated the newest drivers, but the screen remains dark and doesn’t turn back on.
You've just updated the NVIDIA drivers and are experiencing frequent crashes where the computer shuts down completely, even when active. Replacing the monitors doesn't help, and hard reboots aren't effective. Your RTX 3090 is involved. Are others facing similar problems, or do you have any suggestions?
I recommend avoiding black screen issues during idle. Disable power-saving features, then switch off the monitor and restart it. You may need to adapt to this process until the driver is resolved.
I reset the monitor to its standard settings and it functioned properly. To check further, I switched back to Dynamic Contrast as before, put the PC to sleep, and the same issue occurred—no display detection. Then I unplugged and reinserted the DP card, which resolved the problem. Now I’ve set the monitor to a custom picture, and everything is working without issues. It looks like the monitor resets to my DP input when using Dynamic Contrast settings (I haven’t tried any other picture options yet).
