asus tuff b450 pro gaming 3800x cpu dropped from 2600 after a recent change. the asus 2070super 750w psu had its bios updated to the latest version and everything worked before the swap. everything was moved into a new case, then it booted using the new bios. I adjusted the fan curve and set ram speed. After exiting bios, it showed a black screen but waited about 30 minutes before resetting. When I reassembled the original pc with windows 10 installed without a key, it worked fine. It seems this issue could be related to the changes made.

Consider removing the CMOS battery while the PC is disconnected for roughly 30 seconds, then reinsert it and power it up without adjusting RAM speeds. Observe whether it boots using default settings.

It seems the XMP file isn't being recognized. Try resetting the BIOS using jump pins or removing the CMOS battery and check if it improves.

That's correct. I've already taken out the battery, but it seems I didn't leave it out for too long. Swapped in some 3200 MHz RAM instead of 3600, and everything is fine now. Thanks!
