Updated temperature limits for Ryzen 5900X
Hey everyone, I'm experiencing some issues with my Ryzen getting hotter lately. Previously, my 5900X never exceeded 81°C. Those spikes were more common with the Ryzen 5000. After playing GTFO, I saw the CPU hit a max of 88°C—which is quite high for me. My room stays around 27-28°C, but the temperature changes don't seem to affect the CPU much. My AIO is the H150i Elite LCD, which isn't worth the price. Before you ask, everything should be installed correctly since I haven’t had these problems before and haven’t made any changes. I even tried setting a negative voltage of 30 for all cores, and the latest updates are installed. What’s going on? Apologies if there were any spelling errors. English isn’t my first language.
Think about it, it's possible. CPU temperature readings in tests are typically shown as the difference between the processor's heat and the room temperature. I can see how a rise from 20°C to 27-28°C as seasons change matches your observation.
Recent CPU temperatures have increased, especially on a R5 3600. The main change is the room temperature, causing a 7°C rise. I recommend using air conditioning to resolve the issue.
It might be possible. However, it wasn't the same a few days back. The temperature shifts were only around 3-4 degrees.
